Not a Food Bank. Not a Soup Kitchen. A Movement for Food Dignity.

We believe food isn’t just sustenance—it’s a source of dignity, care, and connection.

Mojito Community Foundation was born from decades of food, culture, and community. It began in the kitchen of Mojito Seattle, where chef Luam Wersom turned his belief—that food is a source of dignity and connection—into a grassroots movement. What started with one restaurant feeding neighbors has grown into a citywide call to action. Today, MCF is building a movement that mobilizes chefs, volunteers, and partners to serve meals made with love, free of stigma, and filled with community spirit.

  • Our mission is to build a warm-meal movement fueled by love, fun, and action.

We do more than distribute fresh food through chef-made meals—we create a culture where feeding our neighbors is as natural and joyful as sharing a table. We cook, we serve, we dance, we mobilize—ensuring that anyone who needs a meal gets one, no matter their circumstances.

  • Our vision is to transform food security into food dignity.

Powered by neighbors, restaurants, community partners, and policymakers, we’re building a world where everyone has reliable access to a dignified meal that reflects their culture and needs.

  • Dignity. Community. Action. No Stigma. No Barriers. We Show Up. Food is Power.
